Panic Alarm System

A panic alarm system is a security device designed to send an immediate distress signal in emergencies, such as intrusions, medical crises, or threats.

A panic alarm is an electronic device that can be easily activated to request for help during an emergency where danger to person or property exists. It is designed to contact and request for assistance quick, easy, and simple. The purpose of panic alarm is to allow a person under duress to promptly and rapidly call for assistance in the event of an emergence.

Panic buttons are normally installed to a location where a user can easily reach and press in case of an emergence, and yet out of view of a non user. There are two types of panic buttons, wired panic buttons sometimes referred to as fixed panic buttons and wireless panic buttons.

Panic buttons can be connected to a monitoring center or locally via a silent alarm alert or a loud audible siren to request assistance from local security, police, or emergency services. Here are some key benefits:

Immediate Emergency Response - Allows users to quickly alert authorities (police, security, or medical teams) in dangerous situations (e.g., break-ins, assaults, or medical emergencies).

Deters Crime - Visible panic buttons (e.g., in banks, stores, or homes) can discourage criminals from committing crimes.

Enhances Personal Safety - Wearable panic buttons (pendants, wristbands) help elderly or vulnerable individuals call for help during falls or health crises.

Silent Alerts for Discreet Help - Some systems send silent alarms to security teams without alerting attackers, useful in hostage or robbery scenarios.

Integration with Security Systems - Can be linked to surveillance cameras, access control, and monitoring centers for a coordinated response.

Peace of Mind - Provides reassurance to employees, residents, and family members knowing help is just a button press away
